Today, I thought I’d share a couple of sneak peeks of the new baby quilt design I’m working on.
Batiks are my fabric of choice for this one and the base is created with big blocks and half square triangles. There are five primary appliqué images—four of which are only one piece to cut out! You can’t beat that.
For my last design, I went a bit gung-ho with tons of satin stitching colors, so this time I thought I’d change it up and work with all black satin stitching. Not changing the thread every five minutes certainly makes the project go faster!
I can’t wait to get this one wrapped up so I can share it with you.
