I’d love to take credit for this philosophical nugget, but have to admit that it’s not an original and I have no clue of the source. I can share; however, that I think one of the great things about quilting is its ability to bring people together for a cause.
It’s August and that means it’s time for the Iowa State Fair! To many, that’s no big deal. To me, it’s perfection—camping with family, catching up with friends from my old stomping grounds, and an oversized room filled with quilts!
It’s hard to imagine that I’d ever get to this point, but I’m pleased to announce that I’ve just released my first quilting pattern as a PDF.
